Terms of Service

TalkGo (the “App” or the “Service”)
Effective date: 16 September 2026  ·  Last updated: 16 September 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) form a legally binding agreement between you and [OPERATOR LEGAL NAME] (“we”, “us”) governing your use of the TalkGo mobile application and related services. Please read them carefully.

By creating an account, or by continuing to use TalkGo after these Terms have been presented to you, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

  1. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction if that is higher. TalkGo is not intended for, and may not be used by, anyone under 18.
  2. You must provide a valid date of birth at registration. Providing false age information is a material breach of these Terms and results in permanent termination.
  3. You must be legally capable of entering into this agreement and must not have been previously suspended or removed from the Service.
  4. You represent that all information you submit is accurate and that you are the person you claim to be. Impersonating another person, or presenting a false identity, is strictly prohibited.

2. Your Account

  1. You may register using a mobile phone number, an e-mail address, or your Google account.
  2. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@knt.asia if you believe your account has been compromised.
  3. One person may hold only one account. Creating multiple accounts to evade a suspension, to inflate statistics, or to deceive other users is prohibited.
  4. Your account is personal to you. You may not sell, transfer, lend, rent, or licence it to anyone else.
  5. We may require additional verification where we have reasonable grounds to doubt the authenticity of an account.

3. Acceptable Use — Prohibited Conduct

TalkGo exists to help adults meet and converse in a safe and respectful environment. The following conduct is prohibited, and engaging in it will result in content removal, suspension, or permanent termination, in each case without notice and without refund of any amounts paid.

3.1 Sexual and commercial exploitation

TalkGo is a social and conversation platform only. It is not a marketplace for services of any kind, and it must not be used to arrange paid meetings or paid services of any nature. Any attempt to use the Service for these purposes will be reported to the relevant authorities where required by law.

3.2 Harassment and safety

3.3 Fraud, spam, and commercial abuse

3.4 Illegal and technical abuse

3.5 Child safety — zero tolerance

TalkGo prohibits, without exception, any content or conduct that sexually exploits or endangers a child. This is a published community standard and applies to every part of the Service, including profiles, photos, posts, comments, and private messages. Prohibited content and conduct include:

Any violation of this Section 3.5 results in immediate and permanent termination of the account and a permanent device-level ban, with no refund of any amounts paid. We report such content and the associated account to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) at www.missingkids.org, and to the relevant law-enforcement authority — in the Philippines, the Philippine National Police Anti-Cybercrime Group and the Women and Children Protection Center. We preserve the content and account data necessary to make that report.

If you encounter anything that you believe endangers a child, report it immediately using the in-app report function on the relevant profile, post, comment, or message, or e-mail privacy@knt.asia. Reports concerning the safety of a child are treated as our highest priority.

4. User-Generated Content

  1. “Content” means anything you post, upload, or transmit through the Service, including profile information, photos, posts, comments, and messages.
  2. You retain ownership of your Content. We do not claim ownership of it.
  3. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable, and transferable licence to host, store, reproduce, display, distribute, and translate your Content solely to the extent necessary to operate, provide, secure, and improve the Service. This includes displaying your public profile to other users and translating messages when you enable auto-translation.
  4. This licence ends when you delete the Content or delete your account, except where retention is required by law or where the Content has already been shared with other users who have not deleted it.
  5. You represent that you own or have the necessary rights to your Content, that it does not infringe the rights of any third party, and that you have the consent of every identifiable person appearing in it.
  6. You are solely responsible for your Content and for the consequences of posting it.

5. Content Moderation, Reporting, and Blocking

  1. We use a combination of automated keyword filtering, image review, and human moderation to detect content that violates these Terms.
  2. Every user profile, post, comment, and message can be reported from within the App. Reports are reviewed and actioned by our moderation team. Where required by applicable law or platform policy, actionable reports are addressed within 24 hours of receipt.
  3. Every user can block another user. Once blocked, the two accounts can no longer see each other’s profiles or exchange messages.
  4. Where we determine that a violation has occurred, we may remove the content, issue a warning, mute the account, suspend the account temporarily, or terminate the account permanently. Repeat violations result in permanent termination and a device-level ban.
  5. We may preserve and disclose Content and account information to law enforcement where we reasonably believe it is necessary to prevent serious harm, or where we are legally required to do so.
  6. Child safety reports are handled as our highest priority. On becoming aware of suspected CSAM or of conduct endangering a child, we remove the content or disable access to it, permanently terminate the associated account, preserve the evidence required for reporting, and notify NCMEC and the relevant law-enforcement authority, in accordance with the published standards in Section 3.5 and with applicable law.
  7. Moderation decisions are made in good faith. Because moderation is imperfect, we cannot guarantee that all objectionable content will be removed before you see it. Please use the report function so that we can act.

6. Safety When Meeting in Person

TalkGo does not arrange, endorse, facilitate, or verify in-person meetings. Any decision to meet another user is entirely your own. If you choose to meet someone, do so in a public place, tell a friend or family member where you are going, keep your own phone charged and with you, and never send money or share financial details. We are not responsible for the conduct of users, on or off the Service, or for any consequence of an in-person meeting.

7. Virtual Items and Points

  1. The Service may award or sell virtual items, including “points” and membership benefits. Points and withdrawal features are available only in app versions that include them; some versions of the Service do not offer points or withdrawals at all.
  2. Virtual items are a limited, personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use features within the Service. They are not currency, not property, not a deposit, and have no cash value or monetary worth outside the Service.
  3. Virtual items cannot be exchanged for money, transferred to another account, sold, traded, or redeemed for goods or services of any kind, whether from us or from any third party.
  4. Virtual items have no value upon termination or deletion of your account, and are forfeited without compensation.
  5. Any attempt to sell, purchase, trade, or monetise virtual items outside the mechanisms provided in the Service is a material breach and will result in permanent termination and forfeiture of all virtual items.
  6. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any virtual item at any time. Where we do so, we will act reasonably and in good faith.

8. Paid Memberships, Subscriptions, and Billing

  1. Some features require a paid membership. All purchases made through the App on Android are processed exclusively by Google Play Billing. We do not handle your card details at any point.
  2. Prices are shown in the App in your local currency at the time of purchase and may include applicable taxes. Prices may change, but a change will never affect a period you have already paid for.
  3. Auto-renewing subscriptions: where you purchase an auto-renewing membership, Google will charge you again at the end of each billing period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period; you retain access until then.
  4. You manage, renew, and cancel your subscription through Google Play: Google Play Store → Profile icon → Payments and subscriptions → Subscriptions.
  5. Refunds are handled by Google in accordance with Google Play’s refund policies. Contact Google Play Support for refund requests. We may, at our sole discretion, issue refunds or credits in exceptional circumstances.
  6. Purchases are final and non-transferable. Amounts paid are not refundable except as required by law or by Google’s policies.
  7. If we suspend or terminate your account for a violation of Section 3, you forfeit any prepaid membership period and are not entitled to a refund.
  8. You must not attempt to make purchases through any channel other than the in-App billing mechanism provided.

9. Automated Translation

The Service may translate messages between languages. Translation is performed by machine and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading. You are responsible for ensuring that you understand the meaning of any message you send or receive. We are not liable for any misunderstanding, loss, or harm arising from a translation. Where a translation fails, the original text is delivered instead.

10. Availability of the Service

  1. We provide the Service on a commercially reasonable “as available” basis, but we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at any particular time.
  2. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature or the Service as a whole, with reasonable notice where practicable.
  3. We may perform maintenance that temporarily interrupts availability.

11. No Guarantee of Outcomes

TalkGo is a platform for communication between adults. We do not guarantee that you will meet anyone, that any interaction will be truthful, safe, or satisfactory, or that any relationship will result. Other users’ statements, profiles, and representations are their own, and we do not verify them except where we have explicitly stated that verification has been performed. You rely on your own judgement in all interactions.

12. Disclaimers

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DISCLAIM ALL LIABILITY FOR THE CONDUCT OF USERS OR THIRD PARTIES.

13. Limitation of Liability

  1. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we and our officers, employees, and affiliates are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or anticipated savings, arising out of or relating to your use of the Service.
  2. Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the greater of [AMOUNT] or the amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
  3. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by applicable law.

14. Your Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless [OPERATOR LEGAL NAME] and its officers, employees, and affiliates from and against any claim, liability, loss, damage, cost, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Service, your Content, or your violation of any law or of the rights of a third party.

15. Suspension and Termination

  1. You may terminate your account at any time: Settings → Account → Delete account, or via https://talk.knt.asia/account/delete.
  2. We may suspend or terminate your account, or restrict access to some or all features, if you breach these Terms, if we are required to do so by law, if your use creates risk to us or to other users, or if the Service is discontinued.
  3. Where reasonably practicable we will tell you why we took action and how you may appeal. We may act without prior notice where immediate action is necessary to protect users or to comply with law.
  4. Sections 4, 7, 12, 13, 14, 16, and 17 survive termination.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will present the revised Terms inside the App and ask you to accept them before you continue using the Service. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the current version. Continued use after a revision constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

17. General

  1. Governing law. These Terms are governed by the laws of [JURISDICTION], without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The courts of [CITY, COUNTRY] have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, except where mandatory consumer-protection law in your country of residence gives you the right to bring or defend proceedings there.
  2. Severability. If any provision is held unenforceable, it will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted and the remainder of these Terms will continue in effect.
  3. Entire agreement. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any additional terms presented for specific features, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service.
  4. No waiver. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of that provision or of any other.
  5. Assignment. You may not assign these Terms. We may assign them to an affiliate or to a successor in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
  6. No third-party beneficiaries. These Terms do not confer rights on any person other than you and us.
